When do I have to pay for parking in the Village lots?
From April 15 to October 14, payment is required in Village-owned lots between 12 PM and 8 PM, seven days a week. Outside of those hours, parking is free.
Is parking free before noon?
Yes! Village-owned municipal lots are free every day before 12 PM, even during peak season.
Where can I park for free?
Barnum Free Lot (next to Caroline Ave)
CVS Lot (corner of Barnum & Main)
On-street spots with 1- or 2-hour limits
Village lots before 12 PM daily

Is overnight parking allowed?
Most public lots do not allow overnight parking. Be sure to check signage, especially in the Barnum Lot and Brookhaven lots, which may have strict enforcement.
Is handicap parking available?
Yes. Most lots include designated handicap spots. Valid handicap plates or permits must be displayed.
Can I use Text to Park?
Yes. Text “PJ” 75498 or click the Text to Park button at the top of this page if you’re on your mobile phone. Text to Park is the easiest way to pay. You will receive notifications when you’re time is almost up and you can add additional time if necessary, right from your phone.
Which app do I use to pay for parking?
Use the Honk Mobile app to park. Once this app is downloaded, it will recognize where you are and you can enter your info to pay.
What about Parking Meters?
Several parking meters are available around town if you do not want to pay using Text to Park or Honk Mobile. If you pay to park using Honk Mobile or Text to Park, you do not have to pay the meter. Local parking enforcement can see if you paid for parking no matter which way you pay.
