Carl Safina and Moment's Notice!; Jazz and more featuring special guest Mala Waldron. You may know Carl as the author of best-selling books, as a MacArthur Fellow, or as a professor, but he’s also been called “a fearsome drummer.” Mala Waldron brings a sparkling touch of jazz royalty; she is Billie Holiday’s goddaughter. This energized quintet delivers classy jazz and Latin music—but more than that, we’ve got our own spin on classics by the likes of Traffic, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, and Stevie Wonder. (Carl will bring some books to sign, too!)
